Deerpark Forest in Virginia, Co. Cavan, provided the perfect natural setting for this gorgeous maternity photoshoot.
Surrounded by beautiful woodland, peaceful forest paths and the lovely natural light filtering through the trees, it was the perfect location for a relaxed family photography session.
Mum and dad were joined by their very excited big sister, who was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her new baby brother or sister.
Rather than lots of posing, we kept everything relaxed and natural, allowing the family to enjoy time together while capturing genuine smiles, cuddles, little kisses and all those lovely connections.
Some of my favourite photographs from maternity sessions are often the simplest ones – a loving glance between mum and dad, big sister gently cuddling her mum's bump or the whole family walking hand in hand through the forest.

For their newborn photography session, we chose a relaxed, at-home approach in Virginia, Co. Cavan. There is something incredibly special about photographing a newborn baby in their own home, surrounded by familiar comforts and the people who love them most.
