A Beautiful Little Girl’s Christening in Virginia, Co. Cavan

There’s something so special about photographing christening days – a day filled with love, family, happiness and memories that will be treasured forever. We had a super sweet day together with lots of friends and family to celebrate little Gracelynn - full to the brim with goodness from beginning to end… but for us mums they seem to fly by as we make sure everyone and everything is ready.. so what better way to save and look back on these moments!

In perfect timing just after a nap there were little details to capture, from her gorgeous christening outfit and tiny shoes to the finishing touches that made the morning so memorable. We took some family + group photos here at home so it felt more personal for the gallery.

With everyone ready, it was time to make our way to St Marys church in Virginia, Co. Cavan, for the christening ceremony.

A beautiful and meaningful celebration, surrounded by family and friends, as this precious little girl was welcomed into the Christian faith. From the proud smiles of her parents and godparents to the loving faces gathered around her, there were so many special moments throughout the ceremony. The Priest was so lovely making sure that they would have ALL the special moments in their photos! Finishing this off with some more traditional family photos on the church alter.

We all headed to Lisgrey for some final detail photos and lots of little candid moments..

It was an absolute pleasure to capture this gorgeous baby christening, days like these are a beautiful reminder of how precious family moments are and how important it is to preserve them.
