G’day!

I'm Melinda, West Australian born, mama of three and wife of one lovely Irish fella. Living in Cavan, Ireland with our dog Jimmy and two chickens.

And, I just love taking photos of this beautiful, messy, weird, and sometimes mundane life!

Photography has always been part of me since getting my first beautiful Pentax film SLR camera when I was a teenager…
I started professionally in children's studio photography in 2005 - so I've taken a load of kids photos - like thousands! I know that all kids respond differently, and I'm pretty darn good at working them around or just capturing them as they are. So you don't have to stress about it... and actually I want you to relax and let me lead so you can enjoy your time with your family.

While travelling the world natural light photography followed, letting me take my family and newborn photography sessions outdoors and into peoples homes in Cavan, Meath, Dublin and all over Ireland… this delightfully glided into the lifestyle and candid style session I love to take today…and for you this just means a little bit of posing to take away the awkwardness (like what do I do with my hands!) and a lot of fun messing with your people. With me as your family photographer we can make your session one of your favourite family days together! And by family I mean whoever your people are, even the four legged ones.

I love personal branding photos too, bringing small and big business to life and creating images that tell your story.…

All parts of our lives need capturing and I want to be your photographer regardless of the occasion… its more than just documenting faces but also capturing the connection between them the story they tell, that when you look at your photo you can remember how you felt, not just how you look!
