Finding time to get the whole mob around is tricky huh.. but it’s the best investment in your life, people who know you and know you.. roots and all!
Photographing these extended family sessions always makes me think of my family.. My Cavan Irish family has 14 grandkids and 12 Adults.
And in my Aussie Birch clan there’s A LOT of us too 14 grandkids and 9 Adults.. when I’m in Aus it’s Sunday lunches of Chicken and salad rolls and chips, it was Thursday night dinners, it’s days at the playground with the kids, cricket and a splash at the beach and lots of tea sitting out on the decking at the home house. Now when I’m here it’s long chats - sarcasm and giggle packed and brutally honest opinions, big laughs then continue to the next topic - thank god for FaceTime!
I love family and I love seeing these little quirks and inside jokes all these things that make your family culture and vibe special to you.. and the more relaxed and like yourself you be the better your photos will be. Get your people together.
